LOJ Builder Event - Yoga Therapy

A Yoga Therapy session for Anxiety Relief - brought to you by Life of Joy Foundation & Jessie Rhines Yoga Therapy, Certified Integrated Movement Therapist.

At this particular time, yoga therapy has so much to offer us. We will discuss and then practice certain breath practices and simple yoga flows to uplift during our heavy moments, as well as ones that increase calm and grounding for our anxious ones. We will discuss a few of the concepts in yoga philosophy which are particularly relevant at this time, like satya (being with what is), santosha (gratitude), and ishvara (surrender). Lastly, we will end with a guided meditation on the healing and deeper awakening of all beings everywhere, ideal for this global experience we find ourselves in. Leave with specific tools for your mental health toolbox and a deeper sense of self-care possibilities.

Suggested donation is $20, but not required.
